Stevie Ray pouring herbal teas to taste during last year’s intensive

5/13/16 ~ This weekend workshop is now FULL!  Please email me with any inquiries at sweetgumsprings@gmail.com ~ thank you!

Rachael, Jen and I are ready for our next collaboration!  The last two intensives we held together were on The Basics of Plant Energetics.  Over those intensive weekends, we watched in amazement as eyes began to sparkle and concepts began to click into place.

We will be teaming up again, May 28-29, at the rustic farmhouse in Clinton, MS (thank you Foote family!).  THIS time, we will focus more on medicine-making, plant identification, and traditional food ways.  So, if you’re ready to get hands-on and deepen your herbal understanding, this is just the kind of intensive for you!

Some of the high-lights of the weekend include plant walks, medicine-making (yes, you will make-and-take), herbal tea sampling, fermentation, and seasonal food ways.  If you want to deepen your working knowledge of herbal medicine, nourishing foods, and seasonal living…this is the class for you!

This is a collaboration of New Orleans’ own Maypop Community Herb Shop and Mississippi’s Sweet Gum Springs Apothecary.  Jen, Rachael and I each have at least a decade of herbal training, each, under our belts. All levels of interest and experience are welcome!

Lovely folks, we just have FOUR spots left! You all are invited and welcome! And, anyone from beginners to more well-versed herb enthusiasts will be there. So, don’t be shy!

We’ve got a great group signed up for our weekend workshop the last weekend of May in Clinton, MS! With all of the herbal abundance and plant-life coming up right now, we’ll have plenty to talk about on our plant walks and during the medicine-making extravaganza!

Two of the three teachers, Rachael and I, just had our birthdays, so we are offering the early bird registration price ($185) to those of you that sign up with a friend. So, you can both sign up for $185.

Email me at sweetgumsprings@gmail.com with any questions ❤

This weekend workshop is a collaboration between Sweet Gum Springs Apothecary of MS and Maypop Community Herb Shop of New Orleans.
