This series of herbal offerings focuses on women.  We have preparations for early menses, menstruating women, pregnant women, postnatal formulas, and menopausal women.  We have crafted many wonderful herbal blends to help you move through cycles of hormonal shifts and offer you more grace and ease.  Find our products at the market in Starkville, MS or go to our ordering page to have an order shipped.

PMS Belly Rub Oil (4 oz) for $18 ~ Calm pain and cramping by rubbing this herbal oil on your belly to move stagnation so that the blood vessels will open and flow.  Locally grown and wild-crafted black cherry bark, monarda, yarrow and mugwort willingly infuse themselves in our organic, EV olive oil to be rubbed onto aching bellies in the early stages of your monthly cycle.  If you experience a slow start with your periods and pelvic discomfort, this is the herbal ally for you.  This also happens to be a *wonderful* massage oil.

SOLD OUT Smiley Mom Tincture (1 oz, 2 oz) for $12, $20 ~ This blend does what it says!  Allow your nerves to be soothed and your mood to balance with this calming and sweetly singing formula; build up and nourish your nerves for the long-haul.  This formula is also great for those with anxiety, mother or not.  Locally wildcrafted and grown herbs:  green tops of milky oats, motherwort, skullcap, lemon balm, and holy basil.

Body Boost PMS Tea (high calcium/magnesium) (2.5 oz) for $13 ~ When a woman nears the beginning of her cycle, calcium and magnesium levels in the blood drop.  Certain types of cramping are associated with the depletion in calcium and magnesium.  We have formulated a powerhouse PMS tea to be drunk a couple weeks before your cycle begins:  horsetail, nettles, oatstraw, red clover, linden, lemon balm, and red raspberry.

Decrease Yeast Tincture (1 oz, 2 oz) for $12, $20 ~ When beneficial bacteria get out of balance in the gut, yeast can proliferate in the system causing yeast infections.  To remedy that, we have blended an effective tincture that will combat the yeast without impacting your beneficial flora.  In conjunction with this tincture, we suggest that you take sugars and starches from your diet and take a good-quality probiotic:  locally harvested monarda, sage and privet.

Mother’s Milk Tea (4 oz) for $13 ~ We created this tasty tea to encourage healthy milk flow for your new beloved baby.  Not only will this tea move milk production, it will also nourish the momma!  So sip on this to get things flowing:  nettles, fenugreek, fennel, blessed thistle, and oatstraw.

Menopause Tincture (1 oz, 2 oz) for $12, $20 ~ For those women transitioning into the final stage of womanhood, we have crafted an herbal blend to lend you a hand as your hormones shift.  This formula will help you handle hot flashes, it will nourish the kidneys and adrenals, and it will help with the hormonal shift:  locally grown and wild-crafted nettles, red clover, black cohosh, jiaogulan, motherwort, vervain, holy basil and gotu kola.

After-birth tincture (1 oz) for $12 ~ After the baby is born, the uterus continues to spasm and blood continues to flow from the mother.  To lessen the spasms and the resulting blood flow, we have woven the following herbs together to gently and intentionally remind your body that the birthing is, indeed, over.  This formula could also be used to ease cramping during menstruation.  We have drawn on the wisdom of midwives to provide you a timeless combination of herbal allies:  locally harvested black haw, squaw vine, yarrow, and motherwort.

Momma and Baby Bonding Bath (8 oz) for $12 ~ Give you and your new baby an herbal treat as you bond and create a relationship that will last a lifetime.  Our herbal bath is perfect for right after birth or for whenever you feel that it’s time.  We’ve blended herbs that are packed anti-bacterial, anti-septic and skin healing properties to nourish the body:  epsom salt, sea salt, rosemary, yarrow, comfrey, calendula, and plantain (many of these herbs are also locally harvested).

TriniTea, a Three Treasures Tea (8 oz) for $16 ~ In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the three treasures work in relationship with each other to provide you with optimal health.  They are qi (energy), jing (essence) and shen (spirit).  This slow-simmer decoction was formulated to deeply nourish all three treasures of a woman’s physiology; especially if she is depleted by birth, blood-loss, anemia, or persistent stress.  You can also add beef or chicken stock bones to make a nourishing, traditional bone broth.  This tea (decoction) has a floral, fruity, mineral-rich and earthy taste:  white atractylodes, asparagus root, Luo Han Guo fruit, Dang Gui, longan fruit, jujube date, white peony, and spirit poria.

Women’s Liver Tonic Formula (1 oz, 2 oz, 4 oz) for $12, $20 and $32 ~ Whether you are a menstruating women or a menopausal woman, liver health plays a key role in the processing of hormones and hormone regulation.  Many have found the relief of PMS and menopausal symptoms when they focus on assisting the liver in its function with certain herbal allies.  This liver formula will cleanse, protect and balance the liver as well as gently move the lymph.  This formula could also be used for recovering the liver after pharmaceutical or alcohol use.  Many of these herbs are also digestive herbal allies, so let these roots do some deep work:  licorice root and locally harvested dandelion root/greens, yellow dock root, cleavers, turmeric and agrimony.

Iron-Woman Syrup (4 oz, 8 oz) for $20, $36 ~ This is a great, iron-rich syrup for anemic women, women with heavy cycles, or for women after birth.  Take a Tablespoon a day, or as needed.  Packed with iron-rich roots and plant material, take this syrup for a month and watch your blood become richer and your complexion gently flush with life:  dandelion root/leaves, nettles, butcher’s broom root, raspberry leaf, alfalfa leaf, yellow dock root, spirulina, molasses, fruit concentrate, and brandy.

Fussy Baby Colic Glycerine Tincture (2 oz) for $20 ~ Our aromatic and tasty, plant-based glycerine tincture will calm and sooth the fussiest of babies.  We wouldn’t be surprised if you took a dropper-full as well!  Harvested from the bounty of our gardens, this one is sure to be a hit in your home:  catnip, fennel, chamomile, and lemon balm.

SOLD OUT Summer Lovin’ Lotion (4 oz) for $15 ~ This product is a real hit at the local farmer’s market.  Take hydration to a whole new level with this silky and mildly fragrant lotion.  Perfect for rubbing on your skin after prolonged sun exposure:  calendula, organic olive oil, aloe vera, beeswax, almond oil, coconut oil, shea butter, essential oils of lavender, geranium and grapefruit.

Mighty Mineral Vinegar (8 oz) for $15 ~ Back after popular demand, our mineral-rich vinegar that can be used in cooking or taken by the spoonful!  We infused many mineral and vitamin-rich plants into organic apple cider vinegar to give your bones a boost:  organic apple cider vinegar, locally harvested garlic, rosemary, thyme, oregano, monarda, motherwort, mugwort, and red cedar.

The Balm (First Aid Salve, 2 oz, 4 oz) for $14, $22 – The Balm is back by popular demand!  This salve answers to all of your first aid needs!  It is power-packed green goodness straight from our gardens to help whatever ails the skin.  From bug bites & stings, to rashes, burn, cuts and everything in between ~ so many uses and so very effective!  This salve has anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, and astringent properties.  It will also sooth the skin and help with skin-cell regeneration and speed wound healing as well as curb bleeding by thickening the blood.  That is why we call it “The Balm”:  comfrey, yarrow, plantain, nettles, and rose leaves.

SOLD OUT Summer Sippin’ Tea (4 oz) for $15 – Add a little honey to this citrus-floral summer-in-a-glass blend and kick-back and sip on it by the lake/pool/sprinkler (smile).  Hey, you might not even need to be by the water because it’s so refreshing!  Enjoy our blended tea of red rooibos, rose petals, hibiscus, orange peel, sassafras leaves, and ginger root.
